MKCL’s Educational e-Governance Program
This program offers various eServices through its
educational portals such as Digital University®, Online
Admissions, and Online Recruitment Framework designed,
developed and deployed by MKCL and has facilitated more
than one million students across all clients in
Maharashtra in last 5 years. The number of Applicants
and Student users is steadily increasing and it is
likely to exceed 2 million this year i.e. 2008-09.
Educational e-Governance Program has two main streams
Online Admissions and Recruitment Framework (OASIS)
MKCL’s Online Admission and Recruitment Framework is
mainly useful to transform existing complex admission
system into applicant/student-friendly, simpler,
efficient, accurate, prompt and transparent system at
affordable cost with high quality, greater speed and
wider accessibility in a mass-personalized manner. It
also helps in maintaining entire database of all the
aspiring applicants for future references and
compliances by the admission authorities under Right to
Information Act.
Digital Frameworks
The Digital University® portal offers to the college and
University students the various Information Services,
Administrative/ Facilitation Services, eLearning
Services, Participative/Collaborative Services and
Services for finding career opportunities,
scholarship/fellowship opportunities and career
advancement openings through national and international
competitive examinations, certification examinations,
etc.
The fundamental aims of this program are to give
millions of students an access to their University and
career universe through single entry portal and offer
direct facilitation to students, teachers and managers
of the Universities. This program offers eFacilitation
to millions of University students throughout their
academic life cycle right from search of courses and
admission to finally the award of degree and beyond that
in the job placements. |
